How to stop coasting and increase urgency around a 90-day revenue goal using the Purpose Battle Card and Jesse Itzler's Three-Hour Rule.

The Danger of “Coasting” in a Life You Designed

Why “Good Enough” is the Enemy of the Assignment

On March 1st, I set four clear markers. My Mastermind is holding the line, and the deadline is April 12th. I had the plan. I had the targets. I had the “why.”

But if I’m being truly honest with myself? I’ve been coasting.

Coasting is a deceptive state because it doesn’t look like failure; it looks like “fine.” It’s the subtle shift from pursuing a mission to simply managing a checklist. For the last few weeks, I’ve been casual about tracking, casual about my weekly commitments, and—if I’m being transparent—I’ve just been going through the motions.

I saw it clearly this past weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, I “completed” my physical regime, but I justified a version of it that required zero intensity. I did 15 minutes of random mobility work I saw on a social media reel. No structure. Just “10 of this and 10 of that.” I told myself I needed active rest and that “random still counts.”

It was a lie designed to keep me comfortable.

The Four-Goal Paradox

I have four goals on the table right now. Three of them are “foundational”—the habits that keep my world spinning:

  • The Three-Hour Rule: Completed 25+ times. (Based on Jesse Itzler’s rule: three cumulative hours daily dedicated—guilt-free—to personal growth, health, or enjoyment).
  • Coaching: 8 or more missionaries.
  • Physical Regime: Completed 35+ times.

The fourth is the “Flow” goal: Receiving $3,000 or more in non-linear income. I’ve always believed that when the first three are in alignment with my values, purpose, and God assignments, the revenue flows naturally. It’s the confirmation of the connection.

The Wake-Up Call

Last week, I realized I had no motivation. I wasn’t excited about my purpose—and this is a life I designed. I wasn’t sure if it was grief, overwhelm, or just a quiet resignation that life has been heavy lately.

Truthfully, the “why” didn’t matter as much as the “what now?” I couldn’t even find the willpower to finish my own 30-day journal. So, I reached out to friends. I run harder when I’m supporting a group, and that led me back to a higher structure: The Purpose Battle Card. For a week, I let the “game” decide my focus:

  • I let a draw of the cards decide who I would BE in the morning (my Identity/Hearts).
  • I let it decide which perspectives I needed to dig up (my Resistance/Spades).
  • I even let it decide which scripture would be my Sword (my Truth/Diamonds).

It was fun. It was necessary. But it wasn’t enough. On my weekly Mastermind call, I realized that even with the game, I was still coasting.

The Reality Check

If I keep at my current intensity, I’ll hit goals two through four. I’m doing the work. I’m checking the boxes. But the revenue isn’t flowing.

In the past, a voice in my head would whisper, “It doesn’t matter if it happens in the next 90 days… it’ll get here eventually.” That voice is the “Procrastination Whisperer”. It’s a lie.

If Goal #1 is stalled, it’s a divine signal. It means my foundations have become a routine instead of a bridge. I’ve been posting content without calls to action. I’ve been sharing thoughts without offering a way for people to invest in themselves. If my purpose is to shift mindsets and build generations, I have to offer opportunities for people to do that—rather than just letting them observe my drama.

The 21-Day Pivot

I have 21 days left.

I refuse to finish this sprint in a “casual” state. I’m moving from “doing tasks” to “moving the needle”. For the next three weeks, everything shifts:

  • From Motion to Presence: I’m not just coaching missionaries; I’m showing up with an intensity that honors their calling.
  • From “Doing” to Power: The Three-Hour Rule isn’t just a block on my calendar; it’s my “superpower.” I’m using that time to build my “life resume” and sharpen my focus so I can better serve as a leader and a coach.
  • From Exercise to Stewardship: My physical regime isn’t about burning calories; it is the maintenance of a sacred dwelling of God. This body is a holy temple, and I am sharpening the tool for the mission.

Urgency isn’t about panic; it’s about intent. The revenue isn’t just a number; it’s a confirmation of alignment. I’m going to find out exactly what’s missing before April 12th.

Stop Coasting. Start Playing. I realized that I couldn’t bring enough willpower to shift my momentum alone, so I started playing a different kind of game. If you feel like you’re just ‘managing a checklist’ instead of pursuing your God-given assignment, you need a new strategy.

I’m opening up registration for a 7-Day Momentum Shift where we use the Purpose Battle Card to silence the ‘Procrastination Whisperer’ and stop letting perspectives steal our Holy Ground. This isn’t about staying busy; it’s about finally advancing your calling.

[Join the Waitlist Here] to receive an exclusive reminder for our 24-hour registration window.

Registration opens for 24 hours starting March 31st. We don’t move for money; we move for the Mission. Don’t betray your calling by missing the window.
